Philippians 3: 1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. For me to write the same things to you is not tedious, but for you it is safe.

2 PETER 1:12 For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth. 13 Yes, I think it is right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you, 14 knowing that shortly I must put off my tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me. 15 Moreover I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my decease.

Both Peter and Paul considered that a constant reminder of the Word is paramount to our lives as christians. Jesus prayed to the Father to (John 17:17) "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth."

The Word of God is our only defence against the Satanic onslaughts of every imagination & high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. We must bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ through the Agency of the Holy SPirit.

MATTHEW 7: 24 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because its foundation was on the rock. 26But everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell—and great was its collapse!” JP
