(Zac. 4:6) "Then he answered and spoke to me, saying, This is the Word of Jehovah to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says Jehovah of Hosts."
Over the years men have come to depend upon their might and power. Men have set God away from their sight and went their way. Men seem to have forgotten that they are created by God. It is sad to see that they use the name of God as a curse word. It is also a well-established fact that God is holy. (Isa. 6:2) "Above it stood the seraphs; each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is Jehovah of Hosts; the whole earth full of His glory."

It is impossible for anyone sinful to stay before a thrice holy God. No one can claim that their self-righteousness will make them eligible for heaven. Isa. 64:6. It is only by the Holy Spirit that a sinner can repent, be converted and be sanctified. Only such persons are permitted to live in the presence of God. To become sanctified, one must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus died bearing the sins of humanity on himself. Forgiveness from God is only given to those who will believe. No preacher or priest can forgive sins. Doing penance, torturing the body, donating to charity, going to holy places, fasting and praying and religious observances are not required to forgive sins. John 3:16-17.
